Pay Equity Assessments | Wage & Hour Defense Institute Spring Meeting
Edgeworth Economics Partner Dr. Nathan Woods will present on pay equity alongside Phelps Dunbar Partner Reed Russell at the Wage & Hour Defense Institute (WHDI)’s annual Spring Meeting, to be held May 4, 2018 in Nashville, TN. In their presentation, Dr. Woods and Mr. Russell will discuss various state and federal statutes relating to pay equity through the US. Dr. Woods will offer an economist’s perspective, describing the statistical analyses involved in pay equity studies. He will further discuss best practices in preparing for and navigating pay equity audits, including the types of data that employers will need to gather, how best to organize data, challenges that can arise, and how to address the results of pay equity analyses.
