Dr. Deborah Foster Testifies in Discrimination Case that Resulted in a Full Award for Client

Edgeworth Economics Partner and Labor Practice Group Leader Dr. Deborah Foster was retained by Seyfarth Shaw LLP in a matter alleging (among other things) gender pay disparities.  Dr. Foster served as a rebuttal witness to the plaintiff’s expert’s statistical analysis of gender disparities in annual production at a financial institution and the gender pay gap among financial advisors. Following Dr. Foster’s testimony and the conclusion of the FINRA hearing, the arbitration panel released a complete defense award in February 2022, siding with the financial institution on all claims.
