Edgeworth Economics Named as a Top Global Economic Consultancy
Edgeworth Economics has once again been listed as a leading competition economic consultancy by Global Competition Review (GCR). Edgeworth was featured in GCR's Economics 21, an annual guide to the top competition economics practices around the world.
As noted in the guide, Edgeworth's Antitrust & Competition Practice has grown by 27% over the past year. The firm worked on eight government investigations and 32 antitrust litigations, which have spanned numerous industries and geographies across the world. With the firm's geographic spread, "Edgeworth Economics has pretty much all its bases covered in offering a US-wide competition economic consultancy," said the publication.
The guide singled out the Edgeworth experts that have been named to the Who's Who of Competition Economists—President and CEO Dr. John Johnson and Partner Dr. Gregory K. Leonard—as well as Partner Dr. Fei Deng who is "highly regarded, with sought-after expertise on advising Chinese companies on US antitrust law, and vice versa, having served as a consultant to the Anti-Monopoly Bureau of China's Ministry of Commerce."
"It is an honor to continue to be recognized as one of the world's top economic consulting firms by GCR. We are passionate about the high caliber of our work as well as providing clients with top-notch service and direct access to our experts. We are looking forward to another successful year," said Dr. Johnson.
A subset of the GCR 100, the Economics 21 is determined by criteria such as work over the past year, reputation, size of practice, and individual expert recognition in Who's Who Legal: Competition Economists.
