Dr. Mengxi Wu is an economist specializing in economic modelling and statistical analysis in the areas of antitrust and commercial litigation issues. She has extensive experience with large datasets and is skilled at using econometric toolkits and applying theory to provide economic insights.
In her dissertation, Dr. Wu takes an empirical approach to understand topics in market strategy and consumer behavior using firm and consumer data from Yelp and Alibaba.
Dr. Wu received her PhD in economics from Massachusetts Institute of Technology and her BA, summa cum laude, in economics and mathematics from Wellesley College.
