Nov 12, 2013

Dr. Fei Deng was interviewed by Legal Person, a specialized Chinese magazine that covers issues in economic law.  It operates under the Legal Daily, a publication owned by China’s Ministry of Justice.

Two articles were published on September 6, 2013, discussing antitrust issues in the Information and Communication Technology (ICT) sector, highlighted by the ongoing litigation between Qihoo 360 and Tencent, two leading Chinese companies in the ICT sector.  Dr. Deng commented on the relevance of the characteristics of two-sided markets in defining relevant markets, the application of SSNIP test to “free” products, and the effect of industry dynamics in the evaluation of market dominance.

The two articles are in Chinese, and can be accessed here and here.
