China Antitrust Update

On the eve of the five-year anniversary of China’s Anti-monopoly Law, Edgeworth Economics is presenting a Webinar to provide an update on antitrust developments in China from panelists who bring a unique insider’s viewpoint.

Dr. Fei Deng:  Dr. Deng, a partner at Edgeworth Economics in San Francisco, recently served as an external economics expert for MOFCOM in its review of the proposed UPS/TNT Express merger.  She will discuss developments and trends in MOFCOM’s merger review process and strategies for companies to achieve clearance of merger filings

Mr. Ding Liang:  Mr. Ding, a partner at DeHeng Law Offices in Beijing, served as counsel for plaintiff in  two recent landmark cases in China —Qihoo v. Tencent and  Huawei v. InterDigital. He will offer insights into the two case decisions and provide advice on litigating private antitrust actions in China.

Dr. Gregory K. Leonard:  Dr. Leonard, a partner at Edgeworth Economics, will moderate the session.
